மொழி

பேசப்படுவது மட்டுமா மொழி?
எழுத்தெல்லாம் மொழியாகித்தான் விடுமா?
மொழியின் இடையில்
சகஜ நிலையில்
பேசாமல் பேசுமொரு பேச்சு ஓடும்
எழுதாத ஒரு பொருள் உறவாடி நிற்கும்
இங்கும் அங்கும் இடையில் தாவும்
மின்னெழுத்து பொறியாகித்
தீயை வளர்க்கும்!
தீயில் காயும் இரு உயிர்கள்
மொழியில் நனையும் நீராடும்
மொழி பார்த்தங்கு நாணிச் சிரிக்கும்!

 
The sunken wor(l)ds

Will you call it a language because it was spoken?
Or just because it was written?
What is there? hidden in between words?
The unspoken uttering
makes one excited
The sparks of the fast moving
electronic letters
make the fire to warm up the love
and shower in the unspoken.
Language observes it shamfully!
